Doug Daulton
Producer of an indie feature acquired by Netflix. Live-event lead for Google, Salesforce, and Sony. Founder of an AI strategy practice for media and mission-driven organizations.
Twenty-five years of shipping creative and technical work under deadline pressure. The throughline: live-stream protocols co-designed with Google during the Hangouts launch; BOKEH, an independent feature shot in Iceland and acquired by Netflix; Salesforce events produced across the US, UK, France, and Japan; Creative Director credits at two AI-powered software platforms.
The current chapter is Tortu — an AI consulting practice founded in 2024 to advise creative organizations on responsible AI integration. Product strategy, technical architecture, IP protection, data provenance. The work is operator-grade: building custom LLM pipelines, directing AI agent teams, and treating AI not as a topic but as a working method that has to survive contact with deadlines and budgets.
Alongside that, Future Frames with Andy Beach (former CTO, Microsoft Media & Entertainment) translates platform-scale media leadership into independent production. And contributions to frontier model red-teaming work bring rigor from the other side of the table.
